Stopped by for a quick takeaway sandwich while attending a nearby training course. Ordered sandwiches which took around 20 mins to be prepared then walked to the river to eat. The ham and chutney sandwiches were made from stale bread and extraordinarily dry. Ham was...meagre and the chutney was a smear. Cafe in cathedral grounds by the car park. Good priced and varied menu. Converted barn type ecclesiastical structure making pleasant ambiance.
Lovely visit on a rainy Saturday. Super pot of tea and some Welsh cakes. Staff were very helpful and cheerful. Food look very appetising, well worth a visit.
