This smashing little hidden gem of a restaurant is run by Isa and Serge Lacavalerie.

We hebben dit restaurant 1x uitgeprobeerd. Eten is lekker maar niet bijzonder. Prijs iets aan de hoge kant als je naar de kwaliteit van het eten kijkt.

Arrivés au resto et refusés à 21h15 en plein mois de juillet car la cuisine vient d'être lavée ! Hallucinant...More

Weer zo'n restaurantje waarvan je zou willen dat ze ook bij ons om de hoek zaten. Gewoon lekker Frans eten,vriendelijke bediening, niks fancy maar goed toeven....

"We happened upon this retaurant when we got lost driving around the Dordogne, and it was a good thing too! The food was absolutely delicious and the 14 euro lunch menu was superb. I tried the foie gras and magret de canard brochette which was...divine juicy, tasty and so full of flavour. My friends had the fish and the Moroccan trio, both excellent with light filo pastry parcels, crisp salads and delicious sauces. A great find at great value. The store also sells homewares, and one of our regrets was not buying a porcelain chicken..."

"I am a regular at Le Pukeko in Prayssac, with good reason. It's always reliably good, with a fixed menu. Also David makes the best Cappuccino for at least 30 kilometres around. Equally popular with native French, ex-pat residents like me, and tourists. David and Rosie moved Pukeko here from their previous location 4 Km away in Puy L'Eveque and have retained their old loyal customers and acquired many more. Give it a try!"
