I went to preston for one night. The Wellington was the first pub I stumbled across at pm after checking in the hotel, and we never left. Honestly the banter was great, the pumps are clean, music we knew every tune, the staff were hilarious! It’s a little gem this! Called in here as a meeting point for a night out in the town... first disappointment no cask ales at all.... the Wellie was once a holy site for a good pint of real ale... sadly no more.... this needs rectifying !! secondly the service was really bad.... however, this was not down to the staff... the young woman behind the bar was fab... really pleasant and hard working, but that was the problem... she was expected... Great little boozer Serves real ale. It would benefit from a makeover nice landlady Caroline good chat with the locals.

The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and have something in beautiful weather, and there is a dining room with chairs/tables. Babiesandtoddlers can sit in kid's high chairs (please inquire), and there's a counter where you can sit down and enjoy.
