great restaurant in wellington town. I ordered beef stew with mushrooms and it was really good

My SO and I had an incredible and romantic dinner here last Thursday The decor is beautiful and we were seated well away from any drafts.
Our group of 8 loved our meals at Main St Restaurant. The staff were funny, attentive, and food was fantastic.
Great food, great service, wonderful atmosphere. The portion sizes could have been a bit bigger, for the price.

"We were originally headed to another establishment but walked by and were intrigued by the menu and felt it had some healthy options for a variety of eaters in the family.I had the smoked salmon and aspargus salad which was deeeeelicious. Very fresh veggies and a generous portion of smoked salmon. This place is cute, charming, laidback."

"Visited the Grill today with my son for lunch. We had Vegetarian Deli sandwich with Caesar Salad and an Acoustic Jam (like a Gourmet Burger). All nicely presented and tasted very 'yummy. ' Our waitress, Madison, was very helpful and engaging. In short: Great experience and we will come back."

"I had looked forward to this place for a couple years now after hearing so much about it. Maybe my expectations were simply too high and while the food was good, it wasn't fantastic. Got the Thunder Crunch and it was not very big and not alot different from other chicken sandwiches I've had. The service was top notch though friendly quick and its a very nice atmosphere (if you ignore the kids yelling at another table). If I lived closer I'd probably go back again and try something else, but its almost an hour drive. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"This place was fantastic! We stayed 2 nights and did a fishing charter. The accommodations were cozy, clean and pet friendly . We went on a charter with Scott and he was incredible. He didn’t stop trying until we got on some walleye! I have to give it to him, he was persistent! . My dog was allowed to come fishing with us and he also had a great time. Scott’s boat was incredibly comfortable and he had hot coffee and cold beverages all day for us. He prepared a nice BBQ lunch and even cooked some for my dog! Scott was a great host, very knowledgeable and fun. Thank you for giving us a memorable experience!"

"Had the Blackened Atlantic Salmon which was very nice but the very plain white (jasmine) rice served with it was absolutely cold. The salad accompanying it was good. But we noticed that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, which we weren't aware of. THEN, when we went to pay at the cash the waitress didn't seem to be aware of this gratuity charge practice, pretending to know nothing about it. So we would have ended up paying a 40% tip, if we hadn't been careful."

"I went regularly to Vic Café when it was next to the cinema before it was renovated and I loved the vegan bowl and options they had. After it was renovated, I didn't like the atmosphere as much as it was less chic and more fast food as with perpetrator bags on the menu. the vegan bowl I loved had various ingredients and was not as delicious as before! disappointment"
