"We have had the same server Aleeshia a couple of times now and she is exceptional!!!. My wife and I are both former servers and we appreciate the challenges of the job and what it takes to be better than average in that role. "I recently dined at Madras Maple Cafe in Prince George and while the food was undeniably tasty, I was disappointed by a few aspects of the experience. Firstly, the extensive use of plastic plates and utensils was disheartening, considering the current environmental concerns. Additionally, the service was quite slow, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite these drawbacks, the flavors of the dishes were excellent, showcasing the culinary skills of the kitchen. However, I hope the restaurant considers addressing these issues to improve the overall dining experience for customers."

"I would recommend this to anyone in the Prince George area. Reminds me of many of the great ones in Vancouver. The size of the sashimi is bang on. The staff are friendly and quick. I have only been once but it seems they have outgrown their space and could use more tables and a bigger sushi bar."

"COVID: My friends and I were a group of 4 for a table of 6 that was very comfortable. There was plenty of space around our table in our own area of the restaurant. There are hand atomizers available. We were served immediately and the server was attentive. FOOD: This restaurant serves very large portions and I always bring my own take-a-way container, but they have their own on request. We feed here twice a year for the scavenger with sparrow and vegetarian. This restaurant is always great over the years. ."

"I never expected to find great food like this in PG. There is passion behind these dishes. My husband and I had the 5 course dinner for $70 each (they offer wine pairing for an additional $35 each) and we were so pleasantly surprised. We'll make sure to come here every time we make the drive to town. Simply amazing food and perfect portions. I can't remember the names of the dishes so bare with me. Every dish in the 5 course is a surprise. 1) First dish was a puff pastry type lobster pizza. Amazing first impression. 2) A tomato based, well blended salad, 2 cheeses, balsamic dressing. I enjoyed it overall. 3) A pasta with bison meat. Another amazing dish. 4) Perfectly cooked beef tenderloin on a bed of mashed potatoes with crab and a beautiful sauce on top. The vegetables were delicious as well. 5) Chocolate cake with caramel sauce and ice cream. Seemed like a simple dish, and to be honest, I'm personally not a big fan of chocolate cake, but this... This cake made me fall in love."
