We stayed nearby and ate at La Fonda several times. The atmosphere is nice, especially in the back which is open to the sky and has plants and trees. The owner (Marcelo) is very friendly and helpful. We tried several seafood dishes, including the coconut shrimp, which was heavenly. Prices are reasonable. View all feedback.
What Lilliana Walker doesn't like about La Fonda Steak & Sea Food:
Visited this place today. It looked very clean and fresh and I had been told it was good. I ordered taco soup which was just basicly boiled water with little favour to it. A tea spoon of onion and guacamole and cheese with some shredded taco. I have to say many times in the town this has to be the worst meal ever. There was also 2 other customers who said the spinach sopas was to thin based and far too much salt. View all feedback.
Stopped by this little spot for a late lunch and had a nice bowl of Tortilla soup. Sat at one of the little bistro tables and enjoyed the soup and the afternoon activities. The owner couldn't have been nicer and she had a good number of others you stopped and either got things to go or like me sat back and enjoyed the food and town.
Small deli style soup kitchen. Very good and fresh soups, a tad overpriced for soup. Choices seem to change often.
Great, simple, quick place for lunch. The tortilla soup is amazing and would highly recommend it, great staff!
Tiny little hole in the wall with a sweet lady that has several types of soup. Had Chicken and Rice. It was better than mom made!!!!
