"If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant with great food and a fun atmosphere in the Zona Romantica go to Poblanos Cucina Mexicana. It's really nice. Daniel and Derek, who served us, couldn't have been more attentive and friendly. The place is cozy and even a bit romantic. You will not feel like you're in a touristy place at all. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"I recently visited Bravo's restaurant during Vallarta Restaurant Week. I appreciated the better pricing for a fabulous three course meal. I started with the delicious Roasted Tomato Basil Soup, thoroughly enjoyed my Sesame Crusted Tuna entree and finished with a decadent Cajeta (Caramel) Lava Cake. Accompany that with two glasses of white wine and voila! I consider Bravo's an upscale restaurant amongst our many available dining and eating locales and I like that it can transport me back to my east coast NJ, NYC dining days at one third of the price. Bravo's is a MUST when in Vallarta visiting. "I am not really a person who likes restaurants that are "modern" and "professional"...I like the comida del dia from a Dona's kitchen down an alley...But this place is was perfect for my parents so we gave it a try. Roberto the owner let us watch the superbowl on his 50 inch TV while we ate 3 plates of delicious, soft, ribs. I had to spice them up, but they were juicy, tender and enough for leftovers. The sides were off the hook. So we went back to try it again...and again. Each time we got another dish we were amazed at the consistency of the quality, spices, service, cleanliness. You want to eat in the bathroom it's so clean. For my yellowtail, Fernando chopped wood for the grill and the chef seared it. I asked for wasabi and somewhere they found it. For my husband's coconut shrimp, they chopped the coconut and rolled the shrimp in it by hand. You know an open air kitchen has no secrets. The margarita has no premixes...just lime and tequila and ? Roberto's mother made the beautiful table cloths. You can watch the slow pace of the village go by through the open air walls, and laugh at tourists coming out of the tequila factory. Hopefully they will be accepting credit cards soon, but bring some cash because you'll want to sit there for hours drinking beer out of frosted glasses. Don't forget to save 75 cents for the bus back to Puerto. Saludos tambien a Diego y Fernando!"
