What User doesn't like about L'atelier Tartares Et Cocktails:
we came for a change of tempos from the restaurants in the old quarter and found it, a living neighborhood spot from mostly native to have a good time. most of us had one of the different tartaric acids on the menu and they were all inventive and well prepared. an inventive cocktail list, a beautiful bottle of wine, and the service were all the top rates recommended. What a great place! amazing music on Saturday night and great cocktails (better order double alcohol.) our food was delicious and our server jessie gave great recommendations and wonderful service.
We ate at L'Atelier on our last evening in Quebec City, relatively short visit, so we wanted festive and we got it. The restaurant is in the dense strip of eating establishments along the Grande Alle, and it was packed, and the people-watching along the street was first-rate. The menu provoked some imaginative ordering, conventional entree/plat doesn't work so well, but we ate a very substantial and very good dinner. Service was attentive but we weren't in a hurry and were glad not to be rushed despite how crowded the place was (it's Quebec, different pace from the NYC we're more used to... . As the restaurant's name suggests, the drinks list was long and varied (can't speak to the tartares... . Recommended...
On one of the busiest streets in Quebec, this is one of the busiest and most stylish. Exceptional cocktails and service coupled with very good food results in one snazzy dining experience
Creative cocktail list and menu. A very satisfying experience.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, and there was a spacious seating area available. They welcomed our dog, which is something we didn't find in many places in Quebec! We dined there twice during our four-day stay in Quebec City. While it is a tourist spot, we noticed many locals dining there as well, which is always a good sign.
