You are in Franche Comte and so here it is the truits whhich are dominant.All their preparations are good...notably the "yellow wine" and the morels..Asparagus with mousseline sauce are good but perhaps can be better if the sauce was perfumed with a local herb(type absinthe).Very good traditional vacherin in dessert( it's an ice based dessert).The Cote du Jura fdrom the frutiers is exceptional. read more.

The restaurant is part of a not so good hotel. It has a nice terrace alongside the river. Dinner was poor, wine average. The chef tries his best, but needs to upgrade. Potatoes nice, but their signature dish, trout (la truite) was tasteless, chicken was poor also. Way to expensive for the quality. I would expect far better in France. Upgrade of terrace lighting might be an idea. Candles or something. r read more.
