Well worth the wait in line! Waited about 45 mins and was lucky to get any brisket, so come early. Possibly the best brisket I have ever had. Perfect crust on the outside, smoke ring, and just falls apart. View all feedback.
Excellent K.C. BBQ close to GEHA Arrowhead stadium. You won’t be disappointed. Food is fresh, meats are tender, and the restaurant is very clean and hospitable- even to an opposing team fan.
My first time at this must-try BBQ joint near downtown Raytown, MO right outside of Kansas City. Their brick-and-mortar location is not too far away from one of my favorite breweries in the area, Crane Brewing! I came in around noon, and while they were sold out of many of their menu options (they are popular, so get there early! , I was glad that I stopped and tried the pulled pork and ribs! The pulled pork was tender, the rib meat fell off the bone, and the sauce was just the right amount of sweet and savory ? I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town to try the brisket and burnt ends!! I'm excited to see this local start up take off and grow, and happily support them with my business and this review. 5/5 would recommend
The meat was out of this world which is why we went and were not disappointed. The sides however ... we had cheesy corn and the flavor was good but the corn tasted ice field corn, tough and hard. When they said the coleslaw was vinegar based they omitted that is also without any sweeter like traditional and had jalapeños! Impossible for me to eat. Will go again but just meat carry out and do sides at home.
Everything on our plate was delicious: jalapeño havarti sausage, burnt ends, brisket (Texas style), cheesy corn, and even the potato salad was pretty darn good. And to top it all off: banana pudding was excellent.
Meat was very tender, moist, and flavorful. A good variety of sides. Great portion sizes. Sausage was outstanding.
