However, many visitors have praised the ambience, authentic Lebanese food, and helpful staff. Dishes like Lebanese Chicken Wings and Mezze Platter were highly recommended. The warm atmosphere, beautiful presentation of food, and good value for money were highlighted as positive aspects of the restaurant. Customers also enjoyed the location by the river, welcoming staff, and unique mint tea. Overall, it seems like a good place to experience Lebanese cuisine in Reading, with a few areas for improvement noted.
Beautiful, friendly restaurant with balcony outside beautiful decor inside. The place also overlooks the reading channel so you get a beautiful view. The drinks were great as the food was, we had the salads Balaklava for dessert. Very recommended
Popped in for lunch during a Saturday afternoon mooching around town. Service was great. The mezze platter yum. I would highly recommend the mixed grill.
My first time visiting Reading and we walked past this welcoming-looking restaurant situated by the river. Best decision we could have made for dinner!! Our Server Destiny, was friendly, welcoming and explained everything on the menu. Never had Lebanese food, but it has quickly become a favourite!! The food was so beautifully presented, hot, tasty and definitely great value for money. The restaurant has a nice warm feel to it and colourful..... Theres such a lovely atmosphere in this restaurant I absolutely recommend Comptoir Libanais Restaurant
An interesting Lebanese restaurant. The starters and tagline we ordered were amazingly good. The flatbread pizza was ok but not 100% my thing. The only thing that slightly let down the place is it's a little cramped though this is due to the location, which does have a nice view.
Overall good Lebanese fare on island on oracle riverside. Mezze platter was great. Menu wasn't elaborate. But the dishes were decently authentic. Would have loved to see fresh flatbread. It became hard by the time we. could eat it. Tagine dish with Couscous wasn't great.
