They have a great amount of meats smoked, fresh, Bison, chicken, turkey, also all the additives you will need to cook any of the meats they have. There is a deli to eat in you wish. Have not found any better selection of fresh or frozen meat in Red Deer!!!!!!! View all feedback.

What Mathew Krajcik doesn't like about Big Bend Market:
I took in 48 lbs of venison trim and had Chorizo and Garlic Frying Sausage made up. It was terrible. It was green. Tasted like they had put in 10 times too much oregano. When I questioned the 'sausage maker' he told me they get their spices pre mixed and all they do is the mixing and making of the sausage. After suggesting something went wrong he got very defensive and threw me out of his store saying he did not need... View all feedback.

i was told by some people about this place for a lunch , So i tried it , got a great sandwich and soup, I was very happy that i stopped

I'm a vegetarian trying to be a carnivore. The butcher answered all my questions and prepared me good things!

"I called and asked if they still had vegan poutines, and the person answering checked with a coworker, so I figured I was safe. I ended up paying $17 for a big poutine made with mozzarella and gravy that has dairy in it, with giant chunks of veggies on it. I called to ask if the cheese was vegan, and they said they only had regular mozzarella. I asked to pick up another order of fries to replace my meal (I didn't trust anything else there) and the employees didn't seem to want to help me because they did not take my info, or offer a meal next time or gift card or anything. I was also on a work break, so I went to get my fries and they asked if I wanted to talk to their boss, but the boss were busy on the phone. I was in a rush and just wanted to get away from there. You would think anyone working with food would at least know what vegan means by now, but we are in central Alberta so I'm not surprised. The fries were gross, and the whole thing a waste of my time and money. I wish they would have seemed like they had any concern with the fact that I spent so much money on food that I couldn't eat. I highly do NOT recommend."

"Albert’s is one of my favourite restaurants and today after picking up the toddler from school I figured I would bring them down for some supper. Little did I know they were closed (I’ve never actually looked at they’re hours before) yet they saw me walk up with both kids and still greeted us with smile willing to cook for us. Absolutely amazing! You don’t see that very often nowadays. I knew I loved they’re food, but the service is incredible! Highly recommend."
