Although this restaurant spot is kinda smack in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, it is a perfect gem near my workplace! The burgers are excellent, fries and onions rings crisp, hot, and tasty! The service is also excellent and oh so friendly..I'll keep going back and I can't wait to try their take home meals too! The burger and fries were great. The place itself was odd and disappointing. The tables are small bistro tables. The service was poor. Watched the young girl undo her ponytail and flip her hair around to redo it and then brought me my food. I think they have good intentions there. We did enjoy the food. "I called and asked if they still had vegan poutines, and the person answering checked with a coworker, so I figured I was safe. I ended up paying $17 for a big poutine made with mozzarella and gravy that has dairy in it, with giant chunks of veggies on it. I called to ask if the cheese was vegan, and they said they only had regular mozzarella. I asked to pick up another order of fries to replace my meal (I didn't trust anything else there) and the employees didn't seem to want to help me because they did not take my info, or offer a meal next time or gift card or anything. I was also on a work break, so I went to get my fries and they asked if I wanted to talk to their boss, but the boss were busy on the phone. I was in a rush and just wanted to get away from there. You would think anyone working with food would at least know what vegan means by now, but we are in central Alberta so I'm not surprised. The fries were gross, and the whole thing a waste of my time and money. I wish they would have seemed like they had any concern with the fact that I spent so much money on food that I couldn't eat. I highly do NOT recommend."

"Albert’s is one of my favourite restaurants and today after picking up the toddler from school I figured I would bring them down for some supper. Little did I know they were closed (I’ve never actually looked at they’re hours before) yet they saw me walk up with both kids and still greeted us with smile willing to cook for us. Absolutely amazing! You don’t see that very often nowadays. I knew I loved they’re food, but the service is incredible! Highly recommend."
