"Great food. neat menu with fresh ingredients and simply well prepared. the steak was perfectly boiled and delicate, the sauce rich. the lamb had a large bed of beans with a tasteful sauce, well worked. also the burratta and the prawn tacos were great. not complaining in the menu. Maybe just a bit warmer in the inner and one or two decent scotches on the beverage menu. wein selection was big enough. everything in all there is something for everyone and made good for a very reasonable price."

"A hidden gin bar around red with live jazz every Tuesday and Sunday night. the interiors of the bar are antiques and have an aesthetic note. they have a lot of gin cocktails collections, and some unique. love her gin and tonic of tassie. a visit worth when they are in the environment!"

"Vascos is the place to go if you want an experience. I have been there many times solo when visiting Sydney for business, and this visit was the first with another person. It's noisy, but in a great way -created by the background of great rock and roll playlists from the 60's to the latest. I am talking Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters and so much more. The bar staff create amazing mixed drinks and the selection of beers is small but varied in style. My favourite beer was 3-sheets.The food was great quality, we had the prawns with a Calabrese style sauce and the calamari. Both good size to share. The owners and staff make everyone feel welcome, and you can tell a lot of the customers are regulars."
