"The service was excellent and the food was perfect. we had the healed salmon and bruschetta for escape and escape a l’orange and beef eye fillet for net. everything was nicely cooked and presented. it is not often that they come across a great service, so it is worth noting. we're coming back."

"There are not too many cafes that are ready to serve you a good coffee at 6:00am in the morning but Cafe Matteo will. Very popular with tradies who have discovered this place. Friendly staff and great coffee. The food looks really good too."

"We had lunch here. It is next to the botanic gardens so made it perfect for our visit. The food was excellent! The restaurant itself is quite small but clean. I saw a few people ordering the tempura set for lunch and I wish I had done the same. The lunch set for $15-20 is definitely worth it and very filling."
