"I visited family in fnq and was told about the delicious eating in siam orchid spicy. we decided to pick up a few courts and the oral reviews I had heard were very accurate. the service was fast and the meal was ready. for the collection on time. Although we did not eat in the restaurant, we could see that it was quite full. the atmosphere was relaxed and it looked as if it enjoyed an equal number of locals and visitors their meal. the decoration on both the inside and outside on the terrace is beneficial for formal or informal restaurants. my family said they had eaten there in a series of places with visiting friends and they were always satisfied with the service and dishes. we had the roasted duck curry that had just kicked enough to be noticeable, but not enough to pull off from the meal. the chicken and cashewnüsse were another great court. the purses that were immersed in an erdnus sauce were a real tasty bite. the only part of the meal we do not enjoy were the crackers who had a very strong garnish or fish taste and not exactly what we liked. Maybe other visitors would feel different. the cost for this delicious meal was very reasonable and I would highly recommend the place. Maybe I will also enjoy the obvious ambiente of the restaurant during the next visit."

"Came across this place after a long walk on Yorkeys Beach. Indeed, it is hidden, but it is a little oasis away from the sun and business of the parks nearby. Most of the seating is under umbrellas and away from the hot sun. The place is surrounded by tropical greenery, helping to create a cool atmosphere. Unfortunately, the espresso machine had been closed down by the time I got there, so had a cool beer and a lovely fresh carrot cake instead . Would love to come again"

"Delicious food, fresh and tasty. The Yaya's speciality dish of Lamb and Lemon potatoes was the best I have eaten, a great balance of flavours and seasoning the lamb was so soft and melt in your mouth and the potatoes with just the right hint of lemon..... perfection! Save room for dessert as the Baclava ice-cream is gorgeous, a medley of creamy, nutty, honey goodness. A great way to finish your meal coupled with an authentic greek coffee! This is definitely a must do destination for Dinner if you are travelling to Cairns. Great service and a welcoming atmosphere from the staff made this a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. Can't wait to come back!"

"My family celebrated my birthday at Tamarind and we had a fabulous time! All the dishes were sensational, I particularly enjoyed the baby barramundi which is served upright on the plate with a delicious tamarind sauce. The sides were very generous portions and all yummy. The most excellent part though was the service! The staff were friendly, attentive and went above and beyond in their interactions. I have no hesitation recommending this restaurant to people enjoying a romantic date or a larger celebration like ours."
