"Went for by husband’s birthday. So many things went wrong. My beef ribs were so fat, sent back and they said they was substandard. Husband was told he could substitute a salad for potatoes but was charged extra for salad and got no potatoes. He was given dessert menu to choose free treat for his birthday. He got charged for it in the bill. Refunds were SO confusing, we don’t know what we ended up paying…just wanted to get out of there! Never had so much go wrong at the Charcoal"

"With out a doubt the best Bisteca I’ve ever had My wife had the Annabella pasta with chicken. Definitely coming back with friends Sit outside if the weather permits. The sauces on each were rich and flavourful. Staff are exceptionally friendly Do it, go there"

"Love the service and the extras such as the potato and the dessert. We both found the prime rib completely tasteless! Have been going once a year for our anniversary, and this was a big shock. Talked to a guy at work who said his wife had prime rib last week and it was also very bland. What has happened to Keg prime rib??"

"Definitely my favourite sushi spot in Kitchener-Waterloo! I always come back because I overall love their menu. They have great sushi rolls and the best chicken karaage.The staff is also very sweet and efficient. Whenever we go, they are always quick to greet seat us or put our name down to wait for a table. The tables move fairly fast from my experience and I think the longest I've ever had to wait was 30 minutes (super busy that time but it's always worth it!This visit we got the Ice Fire roll, Spicy Salmon roll, and 2 orders of the chicken karaage. I highly recommend their Salmon oshizushi as well as the grilled pork cheek and Salmon carpaccio.The Pink Lady cocktail is a favourite as well and I really enjoy their tofu cheesecake!The only problem would be the parking. There isn't usually available street parking that is fairly close to the restaurant (only sometimes if we're lucky! So be prepared to walk a little bit!"

"The first time about a month ago. My Roastbeef sandwich really enjoyed. This time I had the same. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it was disappointing. Came home and checked the menu. It said the sandwich was on a roasted panini. This time I was on a cold, slightly dry bungalow. It was when I read the menu, I remembered how warm and gooey and yummy was the first sandwich. Think I'll wait till the terrace season and try something else on the menu."
