"Subs are mostly good but they often forget something if you order pickup. I've ordered probably 10 times all pickups. Half the time no napkins included and 3 times an item was missing even though it was on the receipt stapled on the bag. It just happenedto me tonight at 4:30pm picking up my cardano club. No chips were in the bag I paid for"

"Enjoyed the haneeth lamb and Yemeni bread the most. The foul was also unique and served in a Claypot. Hummus wasn't that good, needed more spice and elevation. The dessert was okay, nothing special: wouldn't recommend.Loved the tea for the cold rainy weather. If you are visiting, don't have high expectations for the ambience or cleanliness. This place stands alone for the food it serves, the lamb falls right off the bone and the bread is baked fresh.Support this small business in Albany."

"I never had Lazeez until today and it was the best Indian food I ever had. I went with a takeout and everything was still hot and fresh when I took it. I ordered Chicken Tikka Makhani, vegetables Samosa and garlic Naan. I highly recommend them. I will definitely get food from them again."

"This is a decent egg salad sandwich. Great consistency, good mayo levels. Could use more salt and a pinch more mustard? and I always wish we had some diced white onion and/or diced celery in the salad itself. But overall it ate well; too many times I?ve bitten into an egg salad sandwich and 80% of it spilled out the other side. This is a very important factor into my rating. Egg salad 3/5. Adding a star to the review for the wonderful staff and atmosphere."

"Fill your belly with comfort food like memories of Grandmas House.... I hesitate to check Mid Way Cafe because it's hard enough to get a table during the weekend dinner as it is. Most owners would love this problem. Why is it so busy? The food is not fantastic, but is very high quality as Grandma used to repair. Portions are enormous and prices are very reasonable. They have so many articles on their menu, I have tried a lot what they serve and I always leave satisfied. Like Grandma's, the big salads are usually iceberg and some of the vegetables can be preserved. But their potatoes are a comfort food just themselves, with really honest to good lumps to show you that they are not immediately. One of their best products is a patty melt to cook a pain, but the best I've ever eaten with a big burger, sauteed onions and Swiss cheese on grilled rye. Their hot sandwiches usually have a humble pile of hot frits that are worth the additional triglycerides. You have an old-fashioned table full of daily lunch and dinner specialties, which for dinner a bowl (they call it a cup) homemade soup, salad with a generous dressing on the side, bread if you ask the Entree, potato, vegetables and dessert for a very reasonable price. For lunch there are coffee, the duck and usually potato. The quality is very good, not unusual, but better than most houses. They serve breakfast all the time, and it usually contains homemade chopped domestic frits from fresh potatoes and toast. You always see that trucks move on the side that is a compliment in itself, as trucks know the better places. The commands are waiting for the seat. They don't take credit cards, but they're cheap enough to get money. Her boiled seafood, linguins with shells fresh garlic sauce, fried seafood and one of my favorites, scallops and shrimps with fatty acid Alfredo are delicious. Mid Way may not be the most beautiful place to eat, but if you remember a party in Grandma's house when you were a kid, it is. The waitresses are the same, the service is always warm and friendly, but like Grandma's catering to her family in a holiday, one or two of the aunts think more about Uncle Stanley than singing the rabbit. Always ask for Patty, she knows her stuff. I have never disappointed with my meal or service, everyone is treated as a family. The only negative is that the owners are Mexican and only have a few great Mexican dishes on the map, we want more!"
