This is worth the trip just for the daily plate lunch options.__Thought I would try something near my work appointments and Connie's did not let down.

like eating in mamas house. eating is great....Hot and fast. guaranteed to enjoy their meal. service is great. the personal is very friendly.

I work in reserve on Thursday and look forward to eating at connie’s. eating is so delicious, real soul food. the atmosphere makes you feel like visiting granny...

This was our first time eating here its a little out of the way on the River Road and if it were not for yelp I probably would have never known it was

"Food was very good, we started with fried pickles since they are my son's favorite. They were super crunchy with a great flavor. A jalapeno ranch dipping sauce came with them and it was spot on. I had the fried catfish with fries and mixed vegetables. The mixed vegetables were amazing. The fries were good but couldn't match the veggies. My son had the ribeye cooked medium rare and was very happy with it. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back again."

"Really cool camp themed interior. Wood plank, metal roofing and critters. Charbroiled Oysters were fresh and delicious! Hushpuppies are savory variety. Fried Seafood platter had a light, non greasy breading. Food was mildly seasoned. If you are a Tony 's addict, bring your shaker with you. A bit too cold today for outside dining, but the vew isfantastic. Easily accessible from I-10 or by boat."
