"Ordered the Shrimp plate. Expected large shrimp they are more like shrimp nuggets. Bread was toasted but burnt on one side. Wanted crawfish was told it was out of season. Heard another waitress say they had a special. Which happened to be crawfish pasta but we had already ordered our waitress didn't tell us the special. I had looked forward to eating here again as I had eaten here 5 years ago on my last visit. But it just didn't have the same vibe this go around. But I did get my peach hot sauce which I LOVE! So very mixed emotions it didn't hold up to my last visit."

"It is a step back in time with today's conveniences. I lived in Norco when it was owned by the Brown Ice Cream family. I admired it when I was driven by or rode my horse on the Levee. It was like I'd get into a dream when I got the circular drive and entered the B. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was wonderful. I hope to come back soon. I wish I could buy it and keep the staff, programs and menu. I recommend staying there and simply absorbing the ambience surrounding this restored elegance of an important time in our history. It is close enough to New Orleans to enjoy a ball game, Mardi Gras Parade or other festivities for which the city is noticed, then retreat to the sounds of ships on the river or enjoy a time of rest and tranquility."

"Food is good, but service is terrible. We got the wrong plate and got told ?I didn?t take your order? instead of trying to fix the problem. Waitress had an attitude since we sat down, she would come ?check? on us, but it was more of a walking by asking ifeverything was good and before we got a chance to even say anything she was already gone. Anyways she was the only person withan attitude everyone else treated us good"
