In the best good restaurant tradition, our experience was an exceptional one. Not only were we invited to dine, but we were encouraged to relax and enjoy our meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica. When did this last happened to you?The restaurant is located up a side street just off the main street, which runs along the Rhine River. We were actually looking for a German restaurant when we found this one. We were on a Rhine River Cruise and were docked not far away. Because a very heavy rain had flooded much of Rudesheim, many stores and restaurants had simply closed.Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica was a surprise find while we were wandering around Rudesheim looking for the German restaurant. After looking at the restaurant menu, as we always do, my wife and I decided we had found our dining spot for the evening. And . . . what a special find it was. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very warm warm and helpful. In my opinion, you do yourself a great service by finding and enjoying and meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica if you are in Rudesheim. I wish you the same experience my wife and I were very pleased to enjoy. If you have time, call or stop by and make a reservation. Introduce yourself and say that you were referred. "The location is superb and the host was nice. I had a flammkuchen, portion was big for the price. It was not bad but a little different from the usual ones that I had elsewhere. If you are looking for enjoying a little traditional town, Bacharach is the place to go to and perhaps sit at this restaurant to savour some delicacies."

"A very cozy and clean hotel. The family room with the rotating TV in the middle was also a reasonable size, clean and comfortably furnished The staff was very friendly and accommodating The buffet in the morning offers a rich selection of cold cuts, fruit, rolls and many other products The location of the hotel was very central in the small old town. Would choose this hotel again and again : Rooms: The room has a rotating TV. Air conditioning, a small refrigerator, large curtains on the windows (which keep it dark , a large wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, a large double bed and a sofa bed Another door in the room leads into the bathroom, where there is a shower cubicle next to the toilet and sink, and next to the sink there is a small extendable mirror with light Nearby activities: You can visit the castle and the viewing platform, which is not far from the hotel. On the Rhine you can book a long tour from 11 a.m. (you get on in Bacharach, there you can buy a ticket at the little house and go to Rüdesheim and then to St. Goar and back . Duration approx. 5 1/2 h, Costs: 2 adults and a child under 6, 52 euros Walkability: There is a small supermarket about 3 minutes from the hotel, several restaurants can all be easily reached on foot and are all close to the hotel. Parking on the main street is a maximum of 10 minutes away from the hotel depending on the distance from the parked car. Parking tickets cost 4 euros per day, 20 cents 1/2 hour, 50 cents for 1 hour The train station is about 10-15 minutes from the hotel, depending on your pace The viewing platform can be reached in about 10 minutes"
