I had never visited the Franklin Inn, but then I saw it on a Saturday night and had to stop in for a drink. So glad I did! The atmosphere is phenomenal, as if the bar physically embraces you as you walk in. I only planned on getting a drink, but the aroma of the food begged me to look at a menu. the drinks are weak. eating in franklin inn is good, quite consistent in quality, but the bar is disappointing.
