What Wanda Glover doesn't like about Bittersweet Bistro:
I can see in warmer weather to enjoy the large, pet-friendly terrace or possibly a sports event in the same size bar area, but as other posts pointed out that the dining room experience was mixed. Eating and waiting service was excellent, but bus staff was overpowered to clear boards that a total icy vibe. the ambiance was horrified. we sat at the very close to another party of 2 in an otherwise empty large dining ro... read moreBittersweet Bistro in Santa Cruz offers a large, pet-friendly terrace and bar area perfect for sports events, but the dining room experience can be hit or miss. While service was excellent, the ambiance was lacking and the prices felt higher than average. Some patrons found the staff to be unwelcoming and the restaurant to be overly loud. However, many enjoyed the food, especially the desserts and beef stroganoff. Overall, Bittersweet Bistro offers a warm and comfortable atmosphere with friendly service, delicious food, and a variety of organic options. While the price point may be a bit high for some, many believe the experience is worth it and look forward to returning.
