Came here for Sunday lunch. Arrived early as we were walking there and it was already buzzy with locals for morning coffee. The coffee was good too. We had the menu du jour for lunch - well cooked local produce and good value, although we noted most of the locals ordered a la carte. The gambas dish (a la carte) was a very generous serve indeed. In my opinion the best place to eat and drink in Riscle. The food menu is great and the food tasty and plentiful. Great selection of wines as well. Very professional and welcoming owners.
We had a wonderfully meal with the staff being both courteous and efficient, although busy. The owner speaks a little English and was very helpful. The food was fresh with a French twist. Great range of drinks. Very enjoyable.
If you are ever in Riscle this is the best. Good food. Good prices. Very friendly owners. Nice eating area inside and at the back outside. Try the risotto and the burgers !
Had a lovely meal and few drinks and we were made to feel very welcome. Staff were very friendly despite our lack of decent French. Bar is in front and restaurant out the back. Apparently Robert was the grandfather of the current owner. A real family run place. Food good and reasonably priced. Would recommend
Always the same nice welcome from m. robert .. service is fast and the card always as generous. a detail yet (for my part!) the dishes are sometimes too rich to my senses. so the salmon is accompanied by rice (you can ask for something else ) but the aulic rice to be simple (without accompaniment if it is a net of olive oil) is accompanied by a sauce with bacon, and it is to my sense once again, that is too much ... but all this is not serious.
