"This place used to offer value but as of 5-24-2022 online sub prices are not accurate (average about 9.35 for a 9-inch). Nice staff but why tag me extra for banana peppers? Chipotle is closeby (Tanglewood) next and may offer more bang for yourbuck. Subs are good here yup, but over a dollar per inch? Nah..."

"100% authentic mexican food. It tastes great and the people are very friendly. It is a good idea to know how to speak some Spanish when you go. But if you cant, there are folks that can help you. My co workers and I go here at least once per week. I am including a picture of the gorditas which are to die for. If you ever get time go here and try it."

"I had a chicago hot dog the other day. it was the worst Chicago dog I ever had. chicago does not use Nathan dogs, you do not grill the dog, you do not wear the rolls, you use poppy beans. also the hot dog goes into the bungalow first not on the senf, relish and tomaten. the hot dog came apart on the first bite. it tasted bad. sonic makes the best chicago dog in roanoke . but their burgers are good."

"Great food and service. For such a small and café like setting, I was very impressed with the quality and taste. We tried the pita fries, the tomato dip, the chicken souvlaki, the gyro dip sandwich, and the fish and chips. Everything had the right Greek seasonings, and the pita bread that was with the meal seemed made in house and very fresh. Our server was taking care of all the other tables as well as us, but she did a great job. One of the owners was also working, and he was incredibly friendly and talkative. To finish our meal, we tried the triple layer chocolate cake. The crumb was a little dry, but it had good chocolate flavor, and the icing was rich but not too sweet. When we visit Roanoke again, we will definitely be back. They do change up their menu quite often, so I'm excited to see what they will have the next time we are there. If you're craving Mediterranean food, this is the place to stop. They have classic Greek dishes, but if you're not feeling as adventurous they also have classic American fare too. Complimented by a full bar, Athens Corner Grill can satisfy your hunger for Greek and Mediterranean food."

"Surprisingly good. This was obviously a convenience store once upon a time that has been converted to a restaurant. The food was priced right in line with most other Mexican restaurants in our area, but the portion size was much more than any restaurant that I've been to in the Roanoke area. My boyfriend and I both had the Saturday lunch specials, mine was chicken, his was beef, and they were HUGE and tasted great! We also ordered tamales as side items, and they also tasted good. Great little hidden gem!"
