"We made a 6:30 reservation on Easter Sunday. Unfortunately we got stuck in dead stopped traffic due to a highway accident, so I called and said we’d likely be a few minutes late, as we were almost at the exit but had been sitting in traffic for 25 minutes. The hostess was incredibly rude, asking us when we’d be there. (As soon as possible was my reply, since we were starving! We got there 8 min past our reservation (6:38 we were standing at entrance and without even saying hello, she abruptly told us the kitchen closes at 7-so in 22 minutes. I’ll be honest, based on that interaction alone, I would’ve left if I had a kitchen at home (house fire, under construction . Who wants to be greeted like garbage when they’re about to drop $120 on dinner? What was supposed to be a nice Easter dinner date after a long week, definitely started off on the wrong foot. We waited 1 5 more min for our waitress, which was fine, and she did not make us feel rushed at all, she was very kind. The food was excellent, espresso martinis definitely weren’t that great for $15, dessert (which we took to go was decent. Overall, I don’t think I’d go back based on the initial experience and a very limited menu. Although I prefer a smaller menu, as I realize this enables the establishment to focus on quality, I think a few more options should be available."
