beautiful little pub. stopped on a small trip on a fast pint. beautiful spacious pub with lots of sport on the tw and memory pieces so great for a sport night or a time with the group. it is quite quiet when they open, so it would be suitable for a liquid work dinner if they have enough time and there are parking nearby, but is in walking distance the road. overall was okay. they ran out of the quitter, but except th... However, on our return trip, we were disappointed. The vegetables were hard and undercooked. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she said the chef had been informed, but no replacement food or refund was offered. Furthermore, we discovered that the dessert, which we had previously received for free, now cost £2.50, and this change wasn't mentioned when we placed our order. Also, paying £1.80 for a glass of orange juice felt excessive!
The best steak in town! It's hand-cut and cooked to perfection. The beef cracklings are incredible as well. I'm in love with this place!
The food at this pub was excellent for a casual dining experience. The service was prompt, and the staff were friendly. However, the ambiance could use some improvement. Adding softer lighting, more comfortable seating, and tablecloths would really elevate this restaurant to a 5-star level.
Charming little pub. I popped in during a short trip for a quick pint. It's a lovely spacious venue with plenty of sports on TV and memorabilia, making it ideal for a sports night or a gathering with friends. It's relatively quiet when they first open, so it could be a good spot for a work dinner if you have enough time. There's parking nearby, and it's also within walking distance from the main road. Overall, my experience was good. They did run out of the quieter drinks, but apart from that, it was a very enjoyable visit and I’ll definitely come back!
