Best value for money in Mount Hagen. 150 kina for 1 room with 2 double beds! The place is quiet, away from the city. Michael, the owner, will help you as much as possible. It offers free pickups and dropoffs from the airport and to Mount Hagen (so for the festival too). The people in the surrounding village are very warm. There are tea plantations, you can walk there. Very disappointed, but Tony Landlord was very helpful and over worked due to staffing issues. Had a very nice breakfast Saterday but came downstairs Sunday morning to be told I was to sit in same place. Thats correct as it was the same place mat from Saturday with the ring mark from the plat and toast crumbs lol. Room ceiling had a big stain on it from a water leak as did the wall. Cracked windows.
