"Booked Afternoon Tea recently, our first time proved to be one of our best decisions. Upon entry we were greeted by Robert and throughout given the VIP personal touch, he is undeniably at the top of his game, everything was clearly freshly baked and delicious, those items uneaten at the venue were boxed for later and devoured at our leisure. 5 stars for 'value for money ' Should the opportunity arise in the future we would definitely return."

"Visits The Crofter twice on our stay in Fort William and wisely decided to eat here on both occasions. First day it was full and we had to leave it 30 minutes before I went back for a table I took as a good sign. It has this warm welcome pub style over it. The landlord was friendly and helpful, but authoritative, when a local used some swears to welcome a friend... she calmed him soon and gave her respect... Nice to see. The service was friendly and efficient, the menu perfectly shown in size with the addition of the specials clearly on a nearby board. The food was fantastic... some of the usual pub classics sprinkled with variations of local ingredients for good measure. The Haggis bites were amazing. I had to give the Haggis, the Neeps and the Tatties an attempt here and glad that I... Great value at home boiled healthy food The place turns out to be a place for younger locals on weekends. Overall, a great place that manages to give something for everyone, young, old and recommend all those in between Highly if you ever find yourself in Fort William."

"What a nice hotel. we thought there was only coffee and cake while we were buried on the hole, but we were pleasantly surprised by the service and our food. the building and the grounds are beautiful, full of character and magnificent view over the hole. the staff was very friendly and helpful. only a minute walk through the forest area are the ruins of the old castle. many parking spaces in the hotel when they drive."
