"We really enjoyed our first visit. The diner was very busy at 9 am on Sunday, so we sat at the bar. We visited with friendly diners who gave great recommendations! Chicken fried steak and hashbrowns with gravy were a fave, and we loved them too."

"This place gets very busy, so go early, 5pm unless you want to wait awhile. Bar was 2 deep, so bartenders must be popular! Also, this restaurant is LOUD! So, if looking for dinner conversation with others, be warned. Food is delicious! We had starts of pimento and hummus, and salad before. Pimento and hummus is sharable for 2-4 people. I ordered the special of stuffed trout with chorizo and crab. It was good, but wish I'd ordered the salmon instead after seeing it. Also, ordered the sea bass, but due to supply it is actually halibut, however, cooked the same. . Split a slice of coconut pie after, and it was sweet, and with Graham cracker crust. It was wonderful!"

"We went last night for my sisters birthday. Food was great, service was extremely slow. Not a big deal about service because we were not in a rush and just wanted to enjoy family time and have some drinks. The problem is that when we left, the servers blamed us and trash talked us to the next customers who took our seats saying we were there way too long (we were there on the patio for about 2 hours) We know because the people that took our table were actually some of our friends. Our tab was over $400 together and the servers got a REALLY good tip. Not once did we complain about the service being slow either, especially with kids who needed to eat. Really disappointing. Do better and be more appreciative of having business."

"I've lived in this area for decades and have always threatened to drop in but just never made the time. My wife and I finally decided to go and we had a great time! We were noticed as newcomers and warmly welcomed. We took a seat at the bar and were immediately chatted up by the regulars. We also met another couple that were newcomers. We chatted, had fun and left knowing we'd be coming back. It's a bar mind you. They have pool tables, dart boards, a shuffle board and a juke box. They also allow smoking so don't go if you can't handle this. I vape so it wasn't a big deal but man did our clothes stink when we got home. All they need is a little ventilation! We didn’t try the food but we had a picture of beer and a mixed drink and were surprised at how small our tab was. Will definitely be going back."

"I evidently had a much different experience that most who have review here. I mistakenly ordered the rib tips. They were awful. It reminded me of the BBQ you might find in the Carolinas. They were bathed in a sweet sauce. The taste and texture of the meat itself suggested it was day old. All in all, disgusting.The establishment is well appointed and I suspect the BBQ can be good. Unfortunately, that was not my experience."
