"I live on the boarder, literally 15 minutes from Mexico. I can say without any controversy that I am an authority on good Mexican/ tex mex food. This IS GOOD food! The restaurant itself is one of extremes though from our experience. Extremely good food and for a great price on one hand; on the other though, we had very poor service. ALL of the women in the front avoided eye contact and left us standing at the front door for at least 5 minutes. We were there Saturday morning August 6th around 8am. A young man was the only person who found a moment to take us to a booth. We will be back next time we are in Ruidoso, the food is that good, in hopes of better service. We found the best Chilaquiles my wife had ever ordered, and I can whole heartedly suggest the Huevos Rancheros."
