The thing that stood out the most, of an overall very pleasant stay, were the staff. They were all very friendly and welcoming and were very helpful. We had two rooms and they were both spacious and very clean, they looked as if they had been recently decorated. Very disappointing Sunday roast dinner. We all chose the beef which was just ok. The roast carrots though were really unpleasant, they been seasoned or cooked with a herb which we couldn’t quite identify the flavour of which permeated through the rest of the plate.
