What A Scorpio doesn't like about Butterfish And Cafe:
I had high expectations as people had recommended it but we were slightly disappointed. Unfriendly welcome by the waitress, uncomfortable wait at the counter to order and food quality just below promised. Thai curry rolls too spicy for our taste, french fries not enough colour and therefore not crunchy but chewy. Fish was good and salad delicious. Would I go again? Best place in town for a feed. Top service, food and atmosphere. Peaceful vibes with great feed. Best place we've eaten during our trip around Northland!
