Countryman's Pleasure - Rutland

We had an excellent brunch to celebrate my mother's 82nd birthday. The staff went out of their way from start to finish to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we wanted. What TbridgeVT doesn't like about Countryman's Pleasure:
Atmosphere and service was very good. We had French Onion Soup, Lobster Bisque, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and Sauerbraten. The food was ok, but very very salty, and the chicken was over cooked and difficult to cut. We drove an hour each way for a special dinner and might give it another try if only because of the staff.
