Gosport Grill - Rye

What NHjo likes about Gosport Grill:
Although I've never attended a conference or event here, it's a great place to visit on a day cruise from Portsmouth or Rye. You can go into the first floor rooms and sit on the magnificent open porch to enjoy the views and the cool breezes. It used to be the Oceanic Hotel, one of the last of the great grand hotels in the country. This time around, we took the Portsmouth ferry and stayed a few hours. View all feedback.

Came out to spend the day hoping for a peaceful and scenic retreat. Yikes, this place was a disaster. Won’t be returning unless they get new management. So crowded it was impossible to find a quiet spot to sit. The hotel “restaurant” offers one meal for lunch, which was grilled cheese. Facilities were disgusting and unclean.
