"I ordered the Chinese Szechuan hot plate, which is a combination of large shrimps, scallops, beef with vegetables over a lit sauce. At $17.50 we got hot tea. It was good overall! Although the scallops do not have much taste or quality. Odd, because we are so close to the sea, and we are a main ingredient! As such their lack of taste made the dish disappointing. Service was excellent. I'd come back, but I appreciate this meal at a 4."

"We returned from salmon fishing in Canada and stayed in Portsmouth for the night. Rudi’s found on OT. Downtown Portsmouth was carved with tourists on Saturday night, so Rudis parking was a welcome view. We arrived well before our reservation, and the staff was very accommodating. They found us a good table. Very pleasant room with an excellent pianist who provides live music. The tables were full. The waitress was attentive. The paprikasalate with local peasants was good, but the lobster Risotto was a great disappointment, gooey and tasteless. The Haddock of my friend was crisp, but also generally lacking taste. We skipped Dessert. Maybe we have them in a bad night."

"I have had the pizza and sandwiches. Also had the pre-made Mac and cheese. Best I ever had and this week I tried there pre made chicken pie. All I can say is OMG soooo good. We come from Nashua just to go there."
