Stopped here for a welcome drink and slice of cake before arriving in Pickering. Made to feel welcome from the start, and once settled at a table, ordered at the counter...mocha for me, tea for the OT and a slice of lemon cake and brownie....Lovely tea room with lots of history dismayed on the walls. Enjoyed our meal but discovered that you couldn’t exit from the front door. As a disabled person this meant going up and down three set of steps to enable you to exit next door through the gift shop.
