What Dee likes about Parallel 33:
33 degrees north of the equator lies Japan, China, India, Middle East, Morocco, San Diego among others. This concept is paralleled with a culinary mentality which brought superb flavors to my table. House made flat bread with three regional dipping sauces ignited my taste buds. Aloo Ki Tiki came next, this consists of a sweet and spicy potato cake having coriander-mango and Indian spiced pineapple-currant chutney. Each flavor was carefully assembled to strike a yummy response. Next came British Columbia savory clams with tamarind lime broth. Pan seared scallops merged with bacon accented lentils, red kuri squash, maple braised onions with chantrelle compote all in one dish. That was a mouth full but I left Parallel 33 feeling energized and light-headed.
