"I'd read the reviews and decided to have a beer here at the end of a long walk up in the hills. The terrace was a fabulous place to be for a salad and a beer in the afternoon sunshine. The setting is magnificent. All four of us returned for dinner that night (it's about a 10 minute, windy drive up from Viehhofen village) and it was well worth it. We ate on the terrace, enjoying the view, the great beer, super food and outstanding service. It got a little chilly towards the end of the meal (it's at 1250m, blankets were provided) and we could have sat inside, but we chose to stay outside. For the view, the ambience, the service and the food, this ranks as one of my most memorable meals. Well worth the effort !"

"Enjoyed two suppers during our week in Kitzbühel. Good food, excellent schwamerl, friendly service, had to wait for 50 minutes the first time and although we didn’t complain were given a free huge mixed salad"
