"Best Pizza Place Around !!! I have ordered from them for years and they are so welcoming, helpful and overall lovely to deal with. They know clients by name and make a effort to help by keeping history on orders and are amazing with dietary needs. Would highly recommend them as I am gluten free and lactose free!!! "Having high tea at the Empress is an occasion rather than a meal. The decor, atmosphere and service are excellent. This is an experience to remember. The attention to detail is remarkable. The serving staff are perfect. For the food, we were given each: one scone with jam and/or clotted cream, 4 finger sandwiches plus a mini quiche, and an assortment of exquisite little desserts, from macaron to a confection of chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, nougat and chocolate shell. The tea is excellent as well. I'm not a huge tea drinker, but I drank several cups of tea with no sweetener. It was delicious. If you visit Victoria, you have to have tea at the Empress. The view is terrific as well."
