What User doesn't like about Downtown Diner:
Just a heads up for anyone hoping to use their Johnny coupon book here...apparently, there are new owners and they won't accept it. We came from an hour and a half away, and I would think it would make more sense to capitalize on what was basically free advertising that the previous owners paid for, but instead of becoming new customers, we are unlikely to be back. Don't let the name fool you. Under new ownership this is now a wonderful Japanese restaurant and Ramen House! You need to eat here. The spicy dumplings...

Food was decent at best about a 6/10 but the service was lacking. Server seemed distracted and not very interested in our service.

"The fish and chips that I had were really good. But my friend had the ceasar salad with a chicken breast which costs more. The chicken was not a breast . It was rather like pressed or processed. It was thin and dark brown. My friend called it chicken jerky LOL. My friend being the person she is only complained after she paid because she had eaten it and she was just giving feedback . I thought the owner would give her a coupon or something but no... she said oh that 's too bad I 'll tell the chef. Now my friend was ok with this because that was what she wanted but I was not impressed. $25 for a less than mediocre ceasar is awful."
