"We ate in the Brasserie Le Gabale downstairs. There is a pricier gourmet restaurant upstairs. This was probably the most elegant brasserie I have ever eaten in. The food was excellent. There are basically two menus at and these...are incredibly good value for money. Highlights of our meal persons) included: a kind of melon ice with ham, a lentil and salmon tartare, excellent fillet steak (well this IS Aubrac roast cod, slow-cooked lamb and a wonderful strawberry ice with local wild bilberries (myrtilles). The presentation, decor and service made this feel much more like a top-notch restaurant than a simple brasserie yet, as so often in great restaurants in France, there was no hint of pretention or snobbery. Excellent."

"The gourmet restaurant is an enchantment of creation and respect for the terroir. A value for money that does not take the guest for a pigeon with golden eggs. Excellent wine list. A couple who know where they come from and who don 't take the melon after the 2 macaroons. Keep going. Having also tried the brasserie it 's good for a light price. Nothing to say. I recommend the Logis de France hotel next door for its pleasant rooms, remarkable breakfast, and relaxing spa massage. Was I going back? It 's certain."

"I stayed for three nights.. all the dining room staff were efficient and polite, fascinating to watch them run from table to table. The food is Exceptionally good,delicate but filling.. Everyone I had contact with was charming and nothing was to much trouble."
