"Granville on a Thursday evening should have many places to eat. Unfortunately for some reason most were shut. Luckily we were staying in the Mercure hotel which is quite close so we wandered in. The decor is very ‘on trend’ which is a plus. The...Bourgogne wine was excellent and reasonably priced. The very small team of two did well keeping everyone in the restaurant served with a few slip ups, for example bringing us a different wine from the one we ordered and opening it. A bit more training needed perhaps? The food was at best average and for any Brits reading this probably not as good as most pubs these days who show an interest in food Anyway despite my comments we had an enjoyable evening. A little more training and less deep fried food, not apparent from the menu would help. Good location though."
