€20 for entrée and main from handful of beautifully made and balanced dishes. My Cod and my four mini puddings were light and flavoured with care. Most tables view the garden rather than road. Service attentive, friendly and relaxed. Chef explained dishes in english for us. Dogs and children welcome.I ate here before the new Chef and his wife took over and they've made it well worth visiting. View all feedback.
What Hugo Hennig doesn't like about Auberge le Nézil:
My nephew took us here as a treat. Table booked for 7 30 pm. We ordered and guess starters arrived at 8 30. Main course sometime after 9 15. The food was well cooked even if the portions small. Service was friendly but the whole experience was frustrated by the delays. View all feedback.
I chose the hotel from my night because I was next to a good place for barbecue (I found nothing decent on the west side of Abilene) I was not disappointed.
I was super excited to try sharon's - I heard such good things but this place is not up to the media thrashing.
We were staying close to St Lyphard and we're looking for a restaurant to celebrate a birthday. This lovely restaurant was just what was needed for the celebration. The menu whilst not extensive was more than adequate, changes monthly and the quality was excellent. The choice of wines was also good and we had a nice Longodoc and a good White Burgundy. The full menu including entree, plat and dessert was €32 which for the quality of food was really good.
We had a lovely lunch. Green asparagus starter, Monkfish with sea shells and passion fruit sauce as main course and a delicious café gourmand.
I really enjoyed the pretty surroundings and had a freshly cooked delicious unhurried diner served by a very pleasant owner
