We have been to La Poutre several times for the SWAT fund raising evenings which have always been good food and great fun not to mention reasonable prices!So today we went there for a birthday lunch for my wife. We went for the quiz night, and that was great but the food was awful! The main course was Greek Lamb with rice and chips, it was insipid and badly cooked, it could have come out of a tin! The apple tart was still frozen! It was a charity quiz night with food and all money raised was for a good cause but seriously if I was the chef I would be ashamed to serve food like that.
