am st. omer for a quick visit aborted before returning the ferry of calais with a group of friends. this as the owner was so friendly and funny and the chef turned out to be English too. the food was well cooked and delicious and pudding especially beautiful. would definitely recommend this bistro. read more.

We should have realised what we were letting ourselves in for when we walked in. It was a Saturday night and the place was empty! All the other restaurants around were very busy. The steak we ordered was questionable as to what animal it came...from, although the waiter who spoke very good English assured us it was Beef, as he said Horse is now banned from being sold in French restaurants.
