La Carreta - Salvarcar

Cielo Rojo. Dirty and delicious. Best I had in Puerto Vallarta.

This is our favorite place to reserve chairs on Los Muertos beach. We tried/looked at some of the others but they were either very expensive (300 pesos per chair) or gave a food credit. La Carreta does not require a minimum spend, and the prices are reasonable enough so you can order just what you want. Some days we just got water and a couple beers, other days we got food, many drinks, etc and the service was the same either way. All the guys are attentive and friendly. The Coronas are always cold, limes are juicy and the Passionfruit margaritas are great! I didn't care for the ceviche (was not expecting fish+shrimp, so my mistake) but the chips are really good they sprinkle Tahine on them, never saw that before and is my new favorite. Guacamole is great, hot dog and fries suprprisngly good as well.

Really good food, fair prices and comfortable seating right on the beach

Great spot to have a drink and enjoy the beach. We didn't have to pay to rent the chairs and drinks were reasonably priced. Servers were nice and friendly.
