"Five of us booked for a fondue which at 26E per person was well overpriced and not very exciting. The actual cheese sauce itself was tasty but was only accompanied by bread, one small bowl of overcooked potatoes and a few pickles. We were served pretty quickly but when we wanted more bread and potatoes could not catch the waiters eye.He dissapearred only to be seen again with the bill. It is very busy but still no excuse for bad service. I have had better fondue at a cheaper price. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend coming here."

"On the southern and sunny side of Paznauntal you will find Kappl. Not more than 20 km from Ischgl and not more than 5-6 ski lifts, but it is worth it. Almstuberl is along the blue 5 slopes. It's a bit pricy true, but not more than you can afford."

"Been here few times, as we had an apartment rented nearby. Tried both and lunch and dinner and food is very good and service very attentive. Serve mostly pizza and alpine cuisine, both with Swiss and Austrian influence. Portions are generous and price is OK. At lunch there is a sunny terrace and very atmosphere. For dinner reservation is needed for peak hours. You can order takeaway pizza or delivery."

"We visted the restaurant as it was ranked in Ischgl. We had salads from the saladbar the selection was not that big. Then we had pizza’s which were dry. Honestly dont know why the high ranking. There are much better places to go...to."

"My husband and I visited this café in February and, not for the first time, we were very disappointed with the service.This was the fourth time we have been, as we come to Ischgl every year, and not once have we felt welcome here. There...seems to be no consistent way of dealing with customers and we watched different staff dealing differently with numerous customers. My husband was served at the counter for sit down food whereas I was instructed, not asked courteously, to sit down and wait for a waitress who didn't come over. My husband ordered coffee and cake yet only coffee was brought. He made three staff aware of his order yet after 15 to 20 minutes the cake still hadn't come. When I went over to the counter and complained a senior member of staff was quite confrontational in her body language but the cake was brought. It's a shame that the excellent products in such a lovely shop are not served in a more efficient and friendly way so that customers do not feel confused and unwelcome."

"We booked the day before for a meal at Trais Portas since it was #1 in TA for Scuol. The service was great, and the various rooms are very atmospheric. We had a classic old green ceramic coal fired heater in our room. I had the basic steak, and my partner I think had a burger. I should have forked out for one of the better cuts of meat because what I had was quite tough and far from the most flavorful steak I've ever had. Overall, great for location, service a good choice for a meaty meal, but not the best food we had in Scuol."
