Contribute FeedbackLocated in a hotel lobby, Table 509 offers a traditional breakfast menu with a nice decor, though nothing particularly stands out. Some patrons found the pancakes burnt outside and undercooked inside, and the service was below par. However, others enjoyed the food and fast, friendly service, with some even calling it the best breakfast burrito in town. Overall, opinions were mixed with some experiencing issues with intoxicated staff and long waits, while others had a pleasant dining experience and praised the excellent service. The restaurant seems to be a hit or miss depending on the day and customer expectations. Those looking for a nearby breakfast option in downtown San Diego might want to give it a shot, but it might not be the best choice for everyone.
My steak was not prepared for the first time. had to send it back, and when it came back, it was room temperature.
We waited half an hour for someone to approach us. the bartender, who appeared unoriented, took our order. 15 minutes later, another waitress came and left our order as the bartender, which we ordered. both employees appeared intoxicated. we ordered appetizers and they were decent. we wanted to order more, but never get a chance, since nobody ever came back to our table. I had to go into the bar to close the reception of the hotel to ask a pen to sign my bill. there is no administration before place? it did not appear as such. that was funny, honey. I expected more personal and attentive. terrible experience. in a city with so many options to eat, they get a chance with parasols. table 509 screwed it up. I will never return.
The food was delicious and the service was great. all staff members in the hotel, restaurant, bar, roof top bar were very friendly and cared for us.
Great staff and food and the location is perfect for walking around and going to a baseball game.
Burger we ordered was good along with the fries. It took too long to get though. Shared a slice of cake and ice cream. $51 with no alcoholic drinks? A bit pricey?!?!
