What Chris Landauer doesn't like about Gibroni's Pizza:
Born and raised in Detroit, I know Buddies pizza and this was only close in style, but not in quality. Not sure if it was the cheese or pepperoni, but way too salty. The crust was nice and service was good. The only Detroit style pizza that I have found on the West Coast was a place in Thousand Oaks and the owner was classically trained in San Francisco to reproduce the closest Buddies I’ve had. Pizza is delicious!!! Best deep dish around??Vegetarian options: The salad was delish!
First time having Detroit style deep dish and it did not disappoint! Probably one of the best pizzas I’ve had in California.
